Step 01

Capture
Video.

Record in the app or bring in footage you already have, and either way the clip lands in the pilot feed, ready to compare.

2.1 Film with the sportsense Camera
  • Open the sportsense camera.
  • Select the pilot feed in the Posting To selector at the top of the camera, and every clip you record posts straight to it.
  • Record the attempt.
Pilot best practice: film from a fixed spot, phone on a tripod or propped and left alone, at the same angle the reference model was filmed from. Two clips from the same angle line up cleanly when you compare them.
Worth knowing: get everyone into the pilot feed before filming starts, so every clip lands where the whole group can see it.

2.2 Bring in Clips You Already Have

You do not have to film everything in the app. Footage already on your phone works the same way once it is in your library.

  • When you are in a feed, tap the plus in the bottom right to add media from your phone.
  • Filter by Type, User, and Date in the top menu to sort your library.
Step 02

Compare Against
the Standard.

3.1 Compare Two Clips Side by Side
  • Tap a video to open it in the analyzer, from either your library or a feed.
  • Select the black and white square in the bottom menu to turn on compare, then pick the second clip.
  • Line the two clips up on the same moment using the haptic scroller, then frame-by-frame for precision.

3.2 Pull Up the Reference Model

The pilot feed comes loaded with the starter reference set, a model clip for each priority skill, tagged and filmed to a consistent angle.

  • Browse the full set in the Media grid, filtered by skill.
  • Open your clip, turn on compare, and pick the matching reference model.

Step 03

Share to
the Feed.

Feedback said on court is heard once. Posted into the feed with the clip, it is there whenever the coach goes back to it.

4.1 Three Ways to Share a Clip
  • From the analyzer: once you have recorded your feedback, the app opens share on its own. Choose the pilot feed.
  • Direct from the library: long press a video and select share in the bottom left.
  • Within a feed: tap the chat button, then the attach button in the bottom right.

4.2 Add Feedback When You Post
  • Select Add Feedback when posting a video to a feed.
  • Make any final edits to the video, and write the description or dictate it with Voice to Text.
  • The feedback is transcribed and reposted to the feed automatically.
